Dear Reader,

Gaurpurnima 2017. Sunday, March 12th, 2017 is the auspicious appearance day of Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu also known as Gauranga. Gaura means golden and anga means limb or limbs. Incidentally purnima means full moon, as Lord Caitanya appeared during the full moon. Please check Radhadesh.com for more info regarding the program. Devotees are encouraged to fast until moonrise which will be until18:40 in Brussels.

We already celebrated the appearance day of Sri Advaita, and ofcourse Lord Nityananda, and end of April the full Panca Tattva will be complete as we are celebrating Srivas Pandita’s appearance day and Sri Gadadhara Pandita’s appearance day as well. Read More...

SRIVAS PANDITA

Monday, March 20th, 2017 it is Srivasa Pandita’s appearance day. This a special day full of jkirtan and bhajan. The home of Srivasa, Srivasangam, was a place where Sri Caitanya perform sankirtana-yajna, congregational chanting of Krsna's Holy Names. In the Gaura-gaṇoddeśa-dīpikā (90), Śrīvāsa Paṇḍita (Śrīvāsa Ṭhākura) is described as an incarnation of Nārada Muni, and Śrī Rāma Paṇḍita, his younger brother, is said to be an incarnation of Parvata Muni, a great friend of Nārada’s.

GADADHARA PANDITA

Wednesday, April 26th, 2017 is Sri Gadadhara Pandita’s appearance day. Sri Gadadhara is non-different from Radharani, and thus we could make a case that He is the most merciful incarnation period.Gadādhara Paṇḍita, the fourth branch of the panda tattva, is described as an incarnation of the pleasure potency of Śrī Kṛṣṇa. No one, therefore, can equal him. Read More...

Ofcourse devotional service is ever-increasing, eternal and ecstatic, so becoming a member does not exclude you from supporting one festival or another.

But to become a member is more intimate, as it makes you a member of Radhadesh, you are more closely connected.

Prabhupada Says

If one wants to be successful on the path of Kṛṣṇa consciousness, he must be thoroughly conscious of the personality of Gaurasundara as well as the personality of Kṛṣṇa. Knowing the personality of Gaurasundara means knowing the personalities of śrī-kṛṣṇa-caitanya prabhu-nityānanda śrī-advaita gadādhara śrīvāsādi-gaura-bhakta-vṛnda. The author of Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta, pursuant to the authorities, stresses this principle for perfection in Kṛṣṇa consciousness.

Maha-mantra

One of them stated that "Hare Rāma" refers to Śrī Balarāma, and the other protested that "Hare Rāma" means Lord Rāma. Ultimately the controversy came to me, and I gave the decision that if someone says that the "Rāma" in "Hare Rāma" is Lord Rāmacandra and someone else says that the "Rāma" in "Hare Rāma" is Śrī Balarāma, both are correct because there is no difference between Śrī Balarāma and Lord Rāma.
