Performances will take place from Tuesday to Friday at 8:30 PM and on Saturdays and Sundays at 6:30 PM. Several performances are already sold out.
The Case of Gustave Blanchette is a crime comedy entirely created by the Lazzi company. Those who remember the success of their show "Petits meurtres entre nous" will appreciate the actors' expertise in the field of crime comedy. The four actors lead the audience through an intrigue filled with false leads and plot twists.
- Location: Louis XIV Salon, 1st floor of the castle.
- Price: €22 (adult) - €18 (student and groups of at least 10 people), including a visit to the castle before the performance.

Synopsis: Gérard Vasinsky acquired Château de Modave with a profitable goal, but his plans are quickly thwarted by the ghost of the former owner, Gustave Blanchette. This grumpy and stubborn ghost is not about to give free reign of the castle. On the first night, the new owner’s plan goes awry, especially with the untimely arrival of a cheated ex-wife and the estate's heiress.
The promising scenario of The Case of Gustave Blanchette adopts the codes of Agatha Christie’s crime stories with a paranormal twist. The ghost, sometimes visible and sometimes invisible, allows for rich acting and plenty of laughs from the audience.
The play was written by the Lazzi company and will be performed by their historic quartet: Evelyne Rambeaux, Pascale Vander Zypen, Christian Dalimier, and Stéphane Stubbé. Come and discover what happens in our recently classified haunted heritage site of Wallonia!

Water Capturing Site
During the long summer evenings, the ghosts of Modave will have a good time. It is not uncommon for visitors to ask questions about violent deaths and wandering spirits in the castle.
